E.T.

E.T. is one of my favorite beings. Thank you Steven, for giving birth to such a lovey creature. His gentle soul has never left me since the first time I saw him and I hope that the spirit of E.T. stays with me til I die.

Universal City, Calif. (AP) - "E.T." will be phoning home again.

The 20th anniversary of Steven Spielberg's blockbuster "E.T. The Extraterrestrial" will be celebrated with a theater re-release that includes computer-generated enhancements and never-before-seen footage.

Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment said the 1982 heart-warmer came back in theaters in March 2002.

"I always wanted to give audiences another chance to experience it as they first did - in theaters, seeing it again, or seeing it with their families," Spielberg said. "I also wanted to enhance that experience with advances in technology."
